wine-1.1.42 is no longer compiling for me on a modern system so doing a
regression test will require first an older Linux distribution.

So I have tried a WINEDEBUG=+all. That slows down the game enough to make it
visible what happens:

Both dialogs are drawn correctly initially but at the end there is a refresh or
so that draws the text background over the whole dialog.
