I can't easily test at the moment, but I see no evidence of that. All
winetricks is doing is cabextact, which is WINEARCH independent.

If you have evidence of a winetricks bug, file an issue on github, but please
stop spreading misinformation. The problem you posted is on your system, not
winetricks.
