It still shouldnt work with staging. Unless the 64bit version somehow differs
which would sound odd. I tested yesterday in clean prefix with staging and this
bug was valid. wine-staging 2.0.rc2. rc3 came today. If you see the recent
commits, it doesn't include this patch.
