We are aware of this problem, but I fear there is no way to fix this for
launchpad. Launchpad only stores about 1 or 2 old versions and removes them
afterwards. PPAs are limited to a size of 2GB by default, we already got a
raise to 4GB because we ran out of space. I guess Launchpad can not afford to
store so much data. We might ask them, but I am not sure they would do this for
free.

Regarding debian, this could be fixed in theory. The problem is that the
software reprepro, which we use to create the debian repositories, does not
support it (see https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=570623). We
still have the builds, just adding them to a repository is difficult. There are
alternatives to reprepro but they often have other disadvantages.
