Just try to play a video and it will fail:

Disabling dxva2.dll is a work-around.

(Though Kodi is also available on Linux, I use wine to run Kodi on an old
laptop because the Linux version has an annoying "feature" that slows down Kodi
when subtitles or any text has to be shown. Kodi in wine runs 2x faster than
the Linux-version of Kodi on my ancient graphic card))
