Presumably there's a way to prevent your package manager from auto upgrading
anything. At the very least, I'd think you could remove the repository after
installing 1.8.1. Or download the packages manually and install them without
adding the repository. But I don't use Mageia, so I really can't help you with
that, and it has nothing to do with this bug. Ask for help on the Mageia forum.
