I brought the GOG version of this game, installed d3dx9 (winetricks) and rename
the *.vid files inside the games directory. So I was able to play the first
mission. No idea, if the whole game runs perfect (that's th reason why I didn't
 submit any testdata to appdb). Anastasius approach to install d3dcompiler_43
resulted in unreadable characters during the mission briefing.

Tested with wine 1.9.2
