I have retested with an updated Ubuntu and the latest version of wine.
The symptoms seem to be the same, but the application does not crash any more.
I was not able the create/find a backtrace.
So I assume the crash is fixed. This bug log can be closed.
I will open a new one when I am able to get some helpful information.
