I tried bisecting this, but without much luck, since self-built wine crashed
even earlier, albeit in gstreamer too. In order to build wine with gstreamer
support I also had to update lots of gstreamer packages - the crash I got there
was then seemingly because no plugin handling mpeg1 audio was available.
Comparing this to the precompiled 1.9.7 wine, I noticed this one actually
complained about failure to load winegstreamer.dll but apparently it worked
fine without.
But in any case, I no longer get a crash with updated gstreamer (and the
required plugins installed).
