Thanks, I'm able to reproduce this with gstreamer 1.8, too. It does sometimes
get past the video, especially when I enable more debugging channels, so this
looks like some kind of race condition. I tracked it down to
gst_element_get_state never returning in GST_Run, but I haven't figured out why
it gets stuck yet.
