According to the log there is no longer a crash with patch applied, and with
HeapFree call commented out. So the patch worked, but GdipFree hack is still
needed.

I noticed that you are starting the application through winedbg, is there
a reason for that? Does it work better without winedbg? (please don't use
winedbg for producing logs, debugger can easily introduce things that break
the application an various ways).
