This problem is reproducible with e.g. GTA Vice City. Also affects GTA 3 and
GTA San Andreas (all three show their intro videos via quartz, which uses
gstreamer). It reproduces after the splash screen is skipped. Most frequently I
get this after installing new wine version and going through its automatic
configuration dialog. After re-running the game one or two times it starts
normally and continues to work without problems.
