Well, it might be possible that this bug was present in the wine-1.9.5 tag, but
has been fixed in the meantime. You could try to compile an old version and
compare the results. Another theory would be that it makes a difference if you
build a 32-bit version of Wine, or a full wow64 (combined 32 and 64-bit build)
like shipped by your distribution. In some cases differences could also be
caused by different compiler versions or optimizations.
