I found a fix for this bug. You will need to access the registries by entering
"wine regedit" in your wine-devel terminal. Open the Current User Settings
node, navigate to /Software/Wine and then if you do not see Direct3D nested
under Wine, right click Wine and add a new key. Name it Direct3D and hit Enter.
Then right click the new key, add a new String value called DirectDrawRenderer,
and hit Enter. Double click that value in the right pane of your registry GUI
editor and when it asks for a value, enter "gdi". Try running the game again.
