Has there been any improvement related to this? I remember trying recently pot
player with pure wine, it worked just fine, but it had the picture flipped
upside down. Now I tried MPC player from the url field. I tried with
wine-staging this time and the movie I opened worked just fine. Movie was in
.mkv format. 

But I did notice that it spammed this line a lot. Maybe it needs some silence.
