Sorry for the late response. A few days ago, I switched to Archlinux, with its
1.9.9 version. Unfortunately, all the symptoms are still there (#32114, #32221,
#32222, #32224).

All four imply running either "wine scad3.exe", or "wine scad3.exe -nowine".
For my part, only one needs fixing -- either resizing glitches without
"-nowine", or search highlighting with "nowine".

I'll also say it again: these are not work-breaking bugs. The way I dealt with
them all these years, I can deal with them from now on, but, *if* they can be
ironed out, I won't mind, at all...
