I tried Max Payne 1 & 2 and GTA:San Andreas, but couldn't reproduce the problem
on the following setup:

Wine 1.9.23 (32-bit build)
Fedora 24 x86_64
Kernel 4.8.6 x86_64
XFCE 4.12
OpenGL vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation
OpenGL renderer string: GeForce GT 730/PCIe/SSE2
OpenGL core profile version string: 4.5.0 NVIDIA 375.10

Can you reproduce the problem in Max Payne 2 demo?
