Ah, thanks. I didn't know the --no-sandbox parameter existed.

With the parameter, the client immediately crashes in Windows XP mode, in
Windows 7 mode it sometimes shows the "Updating..." window, however it stays at
0/0 MB downloaded and nothing else happens (the client should already be
up-to-date, so technically this isn't supposed to appear anyway).
