Wine output when running THIEF.EXE
Basically the game Thief Gold (and Thief 2 for that matter) is unplayable
because of this issue.
All controls seem to work except for the mouse. When moving the mouse around,
nothing appears to happen, if I move the mouse around incredibly fast and in
all sorts of areas, then the player's POV/camera will start to move but then it
will remain paused if I stop vigorously shaking the mouse.
In short, it appears something is causing the mouse to want to pull all the way
towards the sky, if I rapidly drag the mouse down and then don't move it again,
the player's camera will face the floor, but as soon as I touch the mouse the
player's camera will go back to facing the sky.
I used to be able to run this game flawlessly on 1.7.x or 1.8.x, I can't
remember which, I remember by date of around October 2015 I was able to run the
game just fine, so whatever release was out around that time played the game
perfectly fine.
System Specs
Arch Linux w/ kernel 4.8.10 64bit w/ radeonsi mesa drivers (AMD 7950)
Wine 1.9.23
