But do you have issues with the gui launcher withoud doing any modifications?

Because I believe you are reporting an issue that's related to the torrent
downloading. And making this bug duplicate of the bug mentioned earlier. 

I remember that I tried the WOT launcer and I had no issues with it but I got
some crash popup and after it the download was reseted everytime.
