I've updated the Apache config and performed a purge all.

I tried setting up the inotify script submitted, but it did not work. It
outputs the following errror:

No files specified to watch!
./fastly_winehq: line 17: /home/ftp/pub: Is a directory

Perhaps the version of inotify-tools in Debian Jessie is older, and the command
line arguments are different.
