I can reproduce the 'video silently skipped' bug with Steam too, with builtin
quartz and amstream in a clean prefix.
But I think this will be considered as a bug of quartz/amstream. And we need to
fix quartz/amstream to let it work.

Could you file another bug for that 'video skipped' bug?
