Yes, I use PlayOnMac and PlayOnLinux, however with the Mac-version I do install
the latest wine-staging versions that I've downloaded from wine-staging.com.
I'll use the wine-staging versions from WineHQ from now. With PlayOnLinux I use
the systemwide wine installation. 

However, I found that this exception does not occur if I override the following
libraries:
 - amstream, I get into the menu and it seems to be playable. However, I lack
background music
 - amstream + quartz, I now get a gstreamer exception
