PlayOnLinux is not supported here.

I don't have that issue with wine-2.5.0 from deb
https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/debian/jessie main.

I have the fixme:wininet messages and still can connect.

Please, retry with wine-staging from winehq.org repositories and report if it
does work or not.
