Ok, Ludwig3 really needs a c:/windows/system32/drivers/gm.dls (winetricks
gmdls) and will crash if it doesn't gets it.
The other crash was due to the missing IKsControl interface which was fixed by
883fe110ea5225c515c38bdd1e67f65cdeca4609.

Anyway the second patch from Staging was submitted too
