installing xinput through winetricks removed the stubs but hte problem
persisted(so I guess it only affects controller).

Changing HKEY_CURRENT_USER->Software->Wine->DirectInput->MouseWarpOverride from
'force' to 'disable' made the cursor work correctly during the main menu. But
the problem persists ingame
