A backtrace of the issue.

I have tried booting CoD:MW3 using Wine 2.1 using various Windows Versions from
XP to 8.1. Also, I have tried booting MW3 using its "inbuilt" safe mode. All of
these result in iw5sp.exe crashing on boot.

One example of a backtrace is attached below
