And that is what I seem to recall before too - that SC2 wouldn't even launch
without the overrides listed on the WineHQ appdb... Figured something had
changed drastically with 2.0 to work around that.

Just launched winecfg to confirm, and the DLL overrides tab is empty (as would
be expected with a fresh environment).
