The remaining problem is that the installer expects the new Microsoft Root CAs
to be available while most linux distros only ship the old one. After
installing "Microsoft Root Certificate Authority 2010" and "Microsoft Root
Certificate Authority 2011" as trusted root certificates, the installation
finishes successfully for me.
