I confirm.

Using Foobar2000 constantly over years, and this is an issue for years.
Also in Wine 2.1 version.

Here I documented syndrome visually, when it occurs, when stays and when goes
away:

Additional:
Foobar, latest stable, 1.3.14.
Using Arch Linux, KWin/KDE

But as I said this syndrome survived over years and was on GNOME/Mutter also,
so additional info must not matter.
