I can verify that I also have these problems, and its been the case with all
Brothers Keeper versions I've tried - I have to doublecheck if it was the case
with v5 for Win 9x also but I think so .. Probably other problems with that
though also since it's so "old". 

To recap: BK7 hangs on EXIT of editor if data attempted to be changed.
This is in my case with a LARGE database of 28000 people and 9000 families.
(My late mothers good work !)
