But if you are still getting this message 
err:winediag:init_driver_info Invalid GPU override 10de:0406 specified,

after your registery overrides, then there is some configuration issue. One
possibility is that you are setting your ids to something that wine can't read
from it's database. 

Is this bug still valid? Does it start faster with WINEDEBUG=-all, wine
game.exe
?
