thank you for further looking into this issue! 

so after some fiddling, reinstalling libraries drivers etc i'm not much smarter
as before :D 

it works fine with nouveau and nvidia and doesnt with i915, thats all i can
tell as far as the driver modules goes.  

here's my console output when starting and also entering the game and opening
