This a Java based installer that uses DirectDraw to paint its UI. It looks
like that it suffers from a general limitation of DirectDraw implementation
in Wine to paint on desktop window. A workaround is to use desktop mode and
then minimize/restore the installer's main window to force a repaint.

Probably it's a duplicate of some similar bug in ddraw.
