Yeah, no one has reported any issues for a while. It may indicate the bug is
fixed in some newer Wine versions. 

In addition, Smite version 4.X has got a gold rating in Wine App Database.
Versions 2.X and 3.X are still garbage, but latest tests for those are before
Wine 2.0 release. 

If the game follows such a version numbering so that those previous versions
can't reliably be tested anymore we should assume the bug is fixed (referring
to Smite version 4.X here). I don't follow the release cycle (versioning) for
this game so I'm not the one who should make a final statement here.
