I can confirm that text no longer appears in the Steam store as of 7/11/2017.
As others have reported dragging the mouse over menus and text boxes highlights
the areas but there's no text.

I have a patched version of wine-staging 2.10 that fixes the Steam crash, and
the current wine-staging 2.12, and text doesn't appear in the Steam store using
either version. So it must have something to do with the latest Steam update,
as I know for certain that the text used to be fine with 2.10 until the last
few days.

I'm running wine-staging 2.10 and 2.12 under Xubuntu 16.04 with a 64 bit
Windows 7 prefix.
