after install libtxc-dxtn0:i386 the d3d error is gone, but still the same
result once the window opens. 

I have a feeling it is reading the file path and interpreting it as a mac
environment, since this was installed via a windows binary I can't think of
another explanation for why it would return a mac oriented error.
