Same thing here, 
Error: Run Time Error 438 - Object Doesn't Support this Property or Method
comes up whenever trying to use solver. I installed Office 2010 following the
instructions in AppDB, and I have tried with Wine versions 2.0, 2.6 and 2.7.
Everything else works fine but solver wouldn't work.
Same thing happens in Excel 2007.
Has anyone got the solver addin to work in either of these?
