It's for 32 bits.

In lack of a better idea, I tried creating an empty file in the My Documents
folder with the name "MendeleyWordPlugin.PluginComServer.1", but of course it
didn't solve the problem.

In the meantime, I also contacted Mendeley Support: they have suggested to
enable ActiveX controls, but I couldn't do that in Internet settings, since -
as I've noticed - Wine has a quite limited implementation of the Control panel.
I also tried it in the settings of Word 2010 (Trust Center Settings/ActiveX
settings), but still no luck.
