[Bug 42592] The Witcher 3 has poor performance

Something I would like to note. In my experience the 384.x nvidia driver brings
with it a significant performance drop and graphical glitches in the witcher3
(under wine) as well. I ended up reverting to 375.66.

This does include the 384.90 nvidia driver, which I tested last weekend.

If I knew how to get fps numbers I would for comparison between the different
drivers.

CPU: i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz
GPU: GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
RAM: 32GB

I am wondering if this is also related to the performance hits being seen on
the nvidia cards vs AMD. I'd be curious if you reverted your driver if you
still saw the same performance hits with DirectX 11 games.
