Steps 
Install and Run Enterprise Architect
Cancel any open dialogs
>From the "Start" Ribbon, find Preferences option in the Workspace panel (right
hand side)

In the Preference Dialog, select in the tree "Diagram -> Appearance"
Use the Renderer Combo dropdown,  it has three items but none appear.
The "Image Quality" Combo below, has two items.
