I can confirm this regression on archlinux (with wine 2.15 and 2.16).
It also affects the game (running on the same engine) Star Wars: Galactic
Battlegrounds

Thx dan.cermak for the excellent work bisecting the issue! Now if only somebody
knowing how to fix it would step up... :/
