I can confirm that this bug still exists in the latest Wine versions.

After a XEMBED_EMBEDDED_NOTIFY has been sent to a reparented Linux Daw window
using __wine_x11_whole_window for the reparent, the resulting window can be
blank or half show up and/or not be in a usable state.
