Does this issue still exist in current versions of Wine? And do you know if
this issue is a Wine Staging regression, or also present in the development
version?

Please also provide more information about the issue itself. Does the terminal
output contain any hint (feel free to attach the full log as attachment)? And
which games are affected exactly?
