I just got an idea, since this issue reminded me a similar problem in the eON
wrapped The Witcher 2 (see https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98238
), I tried running the game with the Mesa variable proposed there:

glsl_correct_derivatives_after_discard=true

And it fixes the flickering! The problem is that it seems to also cause some
performance hit. May be it can help narrow down the issue in Wine so it could
be avoided?
