Yes, you usually have to "cd" into the game directory, it's a pretty common
pitfall. For reference, it's mentioned at
https://wiki.winehq.org/Wine_User%27s_Guide#How_to_run_Windows_programs_from_the_command_line
which is also linked from the FAQ.
