Hello folks,

a very quick test: reset of HEAD to 2635333922f13c0312b3cdae08f7cf870e10f49a ,
before commit
https://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/commitdiff/85d1fb62b321e890004bc8d0ded7a0183216c42d
("msi: Execute custom actions in a separate process.") makes the installers
work again.

Likely an earlier commit "Make xxx RPC-compatible" is the culprit.
