Hello folks,

very likely a dupe.

Unfortunately I can't even reproduce this with old Wine 1.8.7 because OP didn't
bother to provide the exact version of Chrome/installer used.

(works kinda even with old Wine)

Please read https://wiki.winehq.org/Bugs before reporting problem!

* don't report problems with old/no longer supported Wine versions
* always provide download links and/or specify app/installer version
* don't override default WINEPREFIX Windows version unless you know the
implications. 'Windows 10' setting certainly doesn't make things better
* don't paste backtraces, attach logs

Anyway, even with newer Wine version it would be a dupe of existing bug
reports.
Again: always check appdb/Bugzilla before reporting problems!
