To be completely clear: is the issue reproducible with upstream (non-Staging)
Wine? Is it a regression in upstream Wine?

If not, or if the game is only playable with Staging, it is likely that the
culprit is the ongoing winepulse changes centered around bug 28282. In that
case please attach a log with the channels from https://wiki.winehq.org/Sound,
and CC aeikum at codeweavers.com to this bug.
