Yes, still the exact same problem even though I'm now running much more
powerful hardware.

i7-8700K (@4.8GHz)
OpenGL renderer string: Radeon RX Vega (VEGA10, DRM 3.27.0,
4.19.8-arch1-1-ARCH, LLVM 8.0.0)
OpenGL core profile version string: 4.5 (Core Profile) Mesa 19.0.0-devel
(git-7fe4e0ad5d)

It's although something's artificially liming the game's speed, because it
happens regardless of hardware or in-game video settings.
